Cas de Villiers holds a Bachelor of Arts honors degree
in journalism. In the seventies he was a well-known and controversial
name in politics and journalism in South Africa. He frequently
expressed his opposition against racial discrimination. He
wrote several books on African Affairs, was a regular commentator
on radio and television here and overseas and conducted major
International Conferences as the Director of the Foreign Affairs
Association of South Africa. Mr. Nelson Mandela extended
an invitation for a personal meeting shortly before he left for
America in 1997 when his wife Sylvia was awarded special
immigration status as an artist. He returned to South Africa in November
2003, never to leave again. This book is a story of a spiritual
awakening and the outcome of a heart opening experience in
the throes of depression far away from home.
